I know a lot of people saw this movie...obviously. I am just wondering what some peoples opinions are about it.
Most people I know who did not like it said the ending sucked. Why did it suck? They tried the make the movie as realistic as it could be based on the fact that a MONSTER is attacking NYC.
I personally enjoyed the movie very much and cannot wait for the next one to come out next year.

I have yet to see this but hear only good things...People say that its like a roller coaster...My best friends and I have always been into the "HORROR" ....They now own a Haunted House in NC and they say that it's the best horror film they seen being of how realistic they make it seem

The realism was probably the best feeling we'd received. I would've hoped for some conclusion, though. We were left with the feeling that: "Oh, they're dead. What happened to the monster? They nuked it, did it die? Why the hell was it there?"
Cliffhangers aren't the best thing in the world.
Personally, I got motion sickness. It was good, realistic. It was interesting to see how it's "normal" one minute, and then the next minute shit has hit the fan and Lady Liberty had her head removed. But the cliffhanger. Oh, god, the cliffhanger! If they had given us a news report (like they did in the middle of the movie) at the end of the movie with some kind of explanation as to what happened, then and only then would the movie have been worth my money.
Apparently, in the second, all is explained. I can't wait for that.
